Perhaps the reason Bigfoot keeps itself so hidden is that it's embarrassed by its lackluster singing voice. That's one potential takeaway from the fuzzy video below that Sasquatch fanatic Adam Bird says he captured back in June and just posted to YouTube on Tuesday.
Bird told the UK Mirror that he went in search of Bigfoot in a patch of woodland after hearing stories of Sasquatch sightings in the area.
"We stayed there for a few hours that day and felt watched and followed the whole time," Bird told the paper.
He claims that he took some photos and the video below. He says he didn't notice a shadowy figure staring at his group from behind the trees until reviewing the photos later. However, in the video below, it seems clear that he and his colleague are a little freaked by loud, moaning vocalizations that can be heard. They sound like a cross between an elk bugle and the frustrated lament I made into the New Mexico sky one night years ago after watching the finale of Lost.
Bird is something of an authority on Bigfoot in the UK. He says he first encountered evidence of the beast on a visit to Florida years ago and has been obsessed ever since. He co-founded a Bigfoot research organization in the UK and has reportedly worked with the Animal Planet show "Finding Bigfoot" for an upcoming episode.
Sightings and interest in Bigfoot seem to have enjoyed a bit of an uptick recently, even with apparent hoaxes not holding up to DNA analysis earlier this year and the planned "tour" of a Bigfoot corpse also turning out to be a fraud.
What do you think of the latest Bigfoot news? Is there evidence of Bigfoot in the video? And what is Sasquatch doing in Britain anyway? Did he find a great deal on airfare to get away from the gun-toting crew that's hunting him on the Gulf Coast?
