Samsung The Frame 4K

Samsung/CNET

Mounting your big-screen TV on the wall is nothing new. People have been doing it for a couple of decades at this point. But the problem comes when the TV is turned off. Who wants a giant black screen in the middle of the wall? That's why Samsung's The Frame TVs are so cool -- they turn into a work of art when they're not being used. Right now, you can order one of your very own, and save $270 when you do it. That means you'll pay just $728 rather than the usual $998, making this a deal you won't want to miss.

This TV deal gets you the 43-inch model, and if you want in on the action, be sure to order your new TV soon. B&H says that this deal will end today, which means you only have a matter of hours before it'll be too late.

Need a bigger screen? There are discounts of up to $1,800 on models up to 85 inches as well -- just make sure your wall is big enough for such a monster TV.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.

The Frame TV supports 4K UHD content using its QLED display and employs Quantum HDR technology with wide viewing angles. That ensures you'll be able to see what's going on even when you're sitting off to the side of the TV.

The most notable feature is the Art Streams. When enabled, the TV will show a stream of 20 curated pieces of art to make your TV look like it should be in a museum when it isn't being used. There's a subscription associated with the Art Store if you want to choose more art, but you'll get two months free with the TV so you can try it out.

Why this deal matters

Samsung's The Frame TVs fix the problem of boring, ugly black rectangles taking up space when they aren't being used, and this deal gets you one at a great price. Be sure to check the discounts on the bigger models if 43 inches is a little too small for your living space, too.
