Apple makes quite a few of our favorite smartwatches of 2025, and they can add some serious convenience to your day-to-day life -- especially if you're already an iPhone user. Apple Watches are packed with helpful features, from tap-to-pay functions to advanced fitness tracking, and there are several options out there for every need and budget. But whether you're after the affordable Apple Watch SE or the advanced Apple Watch Ultra 2, you should take a look at any discounts before you buy. There are plenty of deals out there that can put one on your wrist for less.
CNET's dedicated deals team has rounded up some of the best offers on every Apple Watch model still available at carriers and retailers. That includes straightforward discounts of up to $280 or more off on some great models, and you can save even more with an eligible trade-in or new line at a carrier. It's a great time to buy, with potential price hikes caused by the new tariffs on the horizon.
Best Apple Watch Series 10 deals
If you're looking to get a Series 10 with cellular connectivity, you can grab one for $250 off at T-Mobile when you activate a new line of service on a qualifying Digits Apple Watch Plus plan. The discount will be applied as bill credits over 24 months, dropping the price down to about $10 per month.
If you want more than one, you can save $300 on a second Apple Watch, but you'll have to add a line for each watch to get this deal. This offer applies to any of the Apple Watch models T-Mobile carries, which means you can use it to get the Series 10, SE or Ultra 2.
T-Mobile is also offering a deal on many smartwatches, including the Apple Watch Series 10, where you can get a cellular model at the Wi-Fi price. For the Series 10, this gets you $101 off, but you have to be on a Go5G Next plan and add a qualifying line for the watch.
You won't find any dramatic discounts at Apple on its latest Apple Watch, but if you have an older device to trade in, you can get between $35 and $385 in trade-in credit. You'll also get 3% cash back when you purchase with your Apple Card.*
When you purchase an Apple Watch Series 10 at Verizon and trade in an older device, you can get up to $180 back in bill credits, which scores you the 42mm model for $320. The exact amount will depend on what device you trade in, but any Apple Watch Series 3 or newer will net you at least some credit. Verizon will also accept select models from non-Apple brands, such as Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices. Note that you'll have to either open a new line or upgrade an existing one to take advantage of this offer.
You can save $120 with the purchase of a 5G iPhone and activation of a new line on any plan.
Best Apple Watch Ultra 2 deals
Amazon has a select few Ultra 2 configurations available at a slight discount right now. The lowest price you'll find is $720 for the rugged titanium case with an orange and beige trail loop band, which is a $79 discount. There are a few other configurations on sale, but these discounts are few and far between.
Amazon prices change often, but CNET will continue to monitor them and alert you if anything changes.
As with most of its devices, Apple isn't offering any direct discounts on the Ultra 2. However, you can save between $35 and $385 when you trade in a previous-gen Apple Watch, which is a great option for those with an older model who want an upgrade. You'll also get 3% cash back when you purchase with your Apple Card.*
Best Buy is not currently offering any straightforward discounts on the Apple Watch Ultra 2, however, there's potential to save up to $250 using Best Buy's trade-in program if you have a similar device to exchange. You'll also get four free months of Apple Fitness Plus and three free months of Apple Music with the purchase if you're a new subscriber.
Best Apple Watch Series 9 deals
Walmart is offering a pretty incredible deal on the Series 9 right now, but only on a single configuration. You can grab the 45mm GPS + cellular model with a midnight case and sport band for just $250, which is a whopping $280 discount. There's a good chance that this clearance deal will sell out soon, so we'd recommend you act fast.
Best Apple Watch SE deals
Released back in 2022, the second-gen Apple Watch SE is the most recent Apple Watch that hasn't been affected by the lawsuit, which means it's still available from Apple and most retailers. It offers many upgrades over the first generation, including the same processor as the Series 8, crash detection and a few others. It's already one of our favorite budget-friendly smartwatches, and right now Amazon is offering $79 off most configurations, dropping the price to just $170 with many colors to choose from.
Verizon customers who purchase an Apple Watch SE can save up to $180 in trade-in credits if they have an older device to exchange. You'll get the most for newer Apple Watch models, but other brands can be traded in as well including Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel watches. You can also save $120 when you bundle it with the purchase of a new iPhone and add a new watch line.
For those seeking the Apple Watch SE, T-Mobile will help you get one for free when adding a new paired line. It is also offering the cellular model at the Wi-Fi price as long as you're on a Go5G Next plan, saving you $51. You can also purchase one and get a second for $300 off when activating at least one new line of service.
The tech retailer has a trade-in program where you can score some additional savings in exchange for your old wearable. This can include other brands, such as Garmin and Fitbit, though newer-model Apple Watches will get you the most money. You'll also get four free months of Apple Fitness Plus and three free months of Apple Music with the purchase if you're a new subscriber.
Prices and availability change often because of limited supply, especially through retailers like Amazon and Walmart. We'll continue to update this list with the best deals as we find them. It's also worth noting that Apple is still in the middle of an ongoing patent dispute, which means the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 models no longer include the blood-oxygen monitoring feature.
