Before Ranveer Allahbadia, Kanan Gill Also Asked Jackky Bhagnani About Parental Sex: 'You Have To Answer'
Ranveer Allahbadia has been facing backlash for his recent comments on India’s Got Latent. An FIR has also been filed against him.

At a time when Ranveer Allahbadia has been facing immense backlash for his recent comments on India’s Got Latent, an old video has surfaced on social media which reveals that before BeerBiceps, comedian Kanan Gill had also once asked actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani the same question.
The video, dating back to 2015, is reportedly from the time when Jackky Bhagnani and Lauren Gottlieb were promoting their film, Welcome to Karachi. In the clip, Kanan can be seen asking Jackky, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your lives or join in once and stop it?" While Kanan’s question leaves the actor laughing out loud, the comedian insists that he must answer. “You have to answer, guys," Kanan said.

Previously, it was also revealed that the source of Ranveer Allahbadia’s remark was an Australian comedy show, Truth or Drink, in which the host Sammy Walsh posed the same question to the stand-up comedian Alan Fang.
For the unversed, Ranveer Allahbadia has been facing backlash for his recent comments on India’s Got Latent. Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, during a recent episode of the show, allegedly asked a contestant an inappropriate question involving body parts and proposed an indecent act in exchange for Rs 2 crore. The outrage peaked when he posed a controversial question: “Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?"
The comment left many shocked and disappointed. In no time, the video went viral on social media with many, including politicians and film personalities, condemning Allahbadia’s comment. Following the incident, a police complaint was filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina and several co-judges, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Makhija. Further probe is now underway.
Ranveer has already apologised for his words. Recently, he issued a video statement in which he said, “My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry. Many of you asked if this is how I wish to use my platform and obviously, this is not how I wish to use it. I am not going to give any context, justification or reasoning behind whatever happened. I am just here for an apology."
Meanwhile, India’s Got Latent episodes from YouTube have been removed for now.
