Wynd Technologies is just finishing up a successful Kickstarter campaign for their Wynd device -- a personal air purifier that creates a bubble of clean air for its users.
Wynd has two basic settings: the first is an adjustable setting where you can set the exact purifying power you want the device to stay at. The second uses a particulate matter sensor to automatically adjust the settings for your environment.
An included kickstand allows users to prop Wynd so it is sending its clean air directly toward the user.
For additional money on Kickstarter, another attachment allows users to place Wynd on a stroller, so taking children for a walk in the city doesn't induce anxiety.
The particulate matter sensor is also detachable and independently functional. It connects via Bluetooth to your phone to offer information about your environment.
Wynd is wireless, lasting around 8 hours on a charge. That means you can easily take it on the go wherever your day takes you.
The sensor includes a clip so if you don't want to carry around the device you can just use the sensor as a wearable. It will track your environments throughout the day, sending data to your phone.
Wynd is available for preorder on Kickstarter for $139 (about £108, AU$186), and it's set to retail for $189 (about £146, AU$252). Its current expected release date is November 2016.
