Mariel Myers

Mariel Calizo Myers is a five-time Emmy-winning executive producer and video team leader with 25 years of producing and news experience working for CNET, ABC, CBS, Ustream and Yahoo. As Senior Director of Video, she leads the video team in daily tech news and reviews coverage and the development of original content, special projects and series for CNET, YouTube, social, and emerging platforms. Her CNET career began in 2013, field producing tech news stories for CNET and the CBS news network. Mariel has been on the ground producing at major tech events including CES, Apple iPhone launches, WWDC, Google I/O, Microsoft Build and Nvidia GTC. She is an alum of the Asian American Journalist Association's Executive Leadership Program. She has been a speaker at national journalism conventions and several universities, including Syracuse and UC Berkeley. Mariel graduated from UCLA with a double major in Communication Studies and Political Science.
