I kind of hate to submit this here because I haven't and but I find it hard to track down a forum to solicit artists in Edmonton, so here I am.
I am looking for an artist to co-create a webcomic with me.
The webcomic I am making is non-serialized, so it doesn't have a long running story nor is it based around characters. That doesn't leave much to attract people into reading it, but what I want to make it based around is jokes or humor. Some of the comics that have inspired me are www.smbc-comics.com or bizarrocomics.com.

I'd like it if you'd give me a sample of your work and I will be more than happy to give you a more detailed project plan of what I am looking for and what you can expect as well as some samples of my writing/jokes.

Check out the Comic Jams and Creator meet ups at Happy Harbor Comics downtown. The creator nights are a great time to talk about your ideas and see if anyone is interested in working with you. Show up with your ideas, maybe a script and some sample art ideas, and an idea of what you'd like to pay the artist.
